The Committee of Culture and University Extension offers, promotes, encourages and coordinates all activities of the college, aimed at university extension, contributing to a greater integration of the university community and between it and the society in general and culture in its broadest dimension. To that extent, promote training courses, extension and dissemination of culture and expertise, many of them for professionals who wish to be kept up to date with their knowledge, organizes and proposes the creation of exhibitions and displays of interest to areas that make up the college, activities that may occur both in the buildings of FAU as in other institutions.
It should be noted that this committee is responsible for one of the most important tasks of a modern university: its interaction with society. And for that interaction to happen in an encompassing way, all activities bring together faculty, undergraduates and pos-graduate.
Like the other committees, the Chairman represents the college in the Council of Culture and University Extension, for this area.
