Appointment in the Federal Police

According to the laws in force in Brazil, foreigners have up to 90 (ninety) days to request their regularization in the country – this regularization is given by the issuance of the National Migratory Registration Card (CRNM). This procedure is performed by making an online appointment on the Federal Police website for the delivery of documents on a specific date. However, the demand for this service has grown considerably, so that foreigners find it difficult to schedule an available date to regularize their situation.

The AUCANI Academic Reception Office, in view of this situation, established a collaboration with the Federal Police (São Paulo) so that the necessary schedules for this regularization are carried out directly by our office with the Federal Police. Thus, the foreigner who is linked to the USP São Paulo campus (Cidade Universitária, USP Leste, Largo de São Francisco and Quadrilátero da Saúde) does not need to schedule a date directly on the Federal Police website – subject to waiting for vacancies – but just contact AUCANI, where we will perform this procedure more quickly.

To do so, it is necessary to first contact the International Office of the Faculty to which the foreigner is linked and provide all documents required by the Federal Police, according to each case. More information about the necessary documents can be accessed at http://www.pf.gov.br/servicos-pf/imigracao.
