NEREUS joined the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs (IFI), from the American University of Beirut (AUB), and the Lebanese Ministry of Environment as a co-convener for the side event on the economics of climate change in Lebanon. The event provided an important opportunity to discuss some of the results related to the research efforts undertaken as part of the joint Memorandum of Partnership between IFI and NEREUS. Moreover, the event also provided a dedicated forum for the discussion of the future challenges for further developments related to the integrated assessment of the socioeconomic impacts of climate change in Lebanon.
