The aim of this project is: develop furniture and equipment project for temporary shelters through the verification of the user center design in groups affected by disasters related to rainfall and flooding.
The specific objectives are: 1. diagnose furniture and equipment needs and specific requests in disasters related to rainfall and flooding; 2. develop studies regarding social interaction of temporary communities in order to comprehend people, their behavior, perceptions and needs which can provide subsidies to project requisites; 3. propose and experiment user center design process through participative collaboration of the people involved in the creation of furniture and equipment; 4. propose new project alternatives of equipment and furniture which able able to respond to itinerant and collective use; 5. develop strategies for innovation through product, space and services design or experiences in the context of emergencies; 6. evaluate the project according to sustainability parameters.
