Following the conference, an optional tour will be held on Saturday, October 7th. You are invited to join us on a post-conference tour to visit Genipabu and Natal’s north coast.
This tour leaves the hotel by buggy to the first stop at Redinha beach (former fishermen’s village), followed by Santa Rita, Genipabu (where you can stop to swim on the lagoon or go kayaking – optional), Jacumã (beach surrounded by reefs, it’s calm and known for its dunes and lakes), Porto Mirim beach and Muriú beach, as the final stop. The duration of the tour is 7 hours.
Redinha beach is the unique urban beach in the North zone of Natal and it is the oldest fishermen’s village. It meets the Potengi river, which gives an especial charm to this beach. The most interesting thing is the mix between modern and traditional buildings.
Santa Rita is one of the best attractions of the city, a good option for those who prefer beaches with a calm sea, transparent water and small waves. The clear sand dunes and the high coconut trees embellish the place.
Genipabu’s lake and the view of the sea are wonderful. Therefore, what draws the tourists’ attention are the immense white sand dunes and the dromedaries that make the scenario very paradisiacal.
Jacumã is known by the famous “aerobunda”, which is a zip line where the person slides from the top of the dune to the water. Moreover, there is the “skibunda” as well, where instead of sliding through the zip line you reach the water sitting on a wooden plank.
Porto Mirim beach is next to Jacumã. It is an amazing attraction for those who want to escape from the hustle of the city.
On the other hand, Muriú is more bustling and urban. Along the beach, there are many options for food and shopping.
Marazul Receptivo is the travel agency responsible for this tour and the SIPDA staff will also be joining it.
Each buggy can accommodate 3 to 4 people.
You can pay by credit card (R$ 440,00 per buggy) or in cash (R$ 360,00 per buggy), plus an additional fee (raft) of R$ 40,00 per buggy.
If you are interested in joining us on this post-conference tour, a representative of the travel agency will be at the hotel during the symposium. Don’t miss this opportunity!
